Introducing Platonic: visible work, replayable by default
Why the server starts with typed boundaries and a durable ledger, and how Plato Agent puts them to work.
Self-hosted agent server
by Referential.ai
A self-hosted agent server for visible, replayable work.
Plato Agent is the client distribution built on Platonic. Model calls, tool calls, and policy decisions cross typed boundaries into a replayable ledger.
The perfect abstract form.
Why Platonic
Platonic is the server: it owns workspaces, agents, threads, tools, policy, approvals, and ledgers. Plato Agent is the client distribution that makes those boundaries visible.
Diligence by design
The ledger is the run. Interfaces, transcripts, recovery, and audits are derived from recorded facts rather than hidden control flow.
plato replay
Validates the ledger and reconstructs the run without model or tool IO.
Client distribution
Install the supported Platonic 0.2.2 command bundle for Linux x86-64 or macOS Apple silicon. The tagged quickstart owns target selection, checksum verification, and install commands.
